Social science perspectives on climate change and development

I am a Assistant Professor in Environmental Social Science at the University of Copenhagen. I am most fascinated by how environmental change and climate policies reshape people, places, and livelihoods, particularly in regions shaped by extractive industries and energy transitions. Through my research, I aim to contribute to a better understanding of the social dimensions of decarbonization, environmental risk, and mitigation policies, and of how communities experience and respond to these challenges now and in the future.
